Kalyani Roy Kalyani is a qualified Architect with a Master’s in Architectural Conservation from SPA, Bhopal. She is enlisted as a Conservation Architect in the Kolkata Municipal Corporation and has contributed to field investigations and literature studies for the book. Biswajit Thakur Biswajit is a civil engineering faculty of Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology in Kolkata. He has a Master’s and Ph.D. from Jadavpur University. He analysed the spatial positioning of buildings and evaluated complex natural lighting and ventilation mechanisms of different edifice structures documented for the first time in this book. Pronoy Roy Chowdhury Pronoy is a structural engineer with a PhD from Jadavpur University. He published articles about historic buildings in Kolkata and coauthored a book about the history of the Howrah Bridge in Kolkata.
