Conan the Destroyer  (DVD English)

Conan The Destroyer (1984) is a fantasy-action film directed by Richard Fleischer. This film is the sequel to Conan The Barbarian that was directed by John Milius. A third film with the title, Conan The Conqueror, had also been planned but got cancelled. The film stars Arnold Schwarzenegger and Mako Iwamatsu. Conan The Destroyer follows the barbarian, Conan (Arnold Schwarzenegger) and his mate, Malak (Mako Iwamatsu).They are given a task by Queen Taramis to guard Jehnna (played Olivia d'Abo), the Queen's niece, in her quest to find a special magical jewel through which the jeweled horn of the dreaming God, Dagoth could be obtained. Though Conan initially refuses, he later agrees when the Queen promises his beloved Valeria's resurrection. In this journey they are also joined by Bombaata, one of Queen Taramis' men who is instructed to kill Conan once they get the jewel. During their journey, Conan reunites with the wise wizard, Akiro, who he saves from a tribe of cannibals planning to eat him. Conan also meets Zula (Grace Jones), a fierce warrior. The film is packed with many twists, betrayals and traps. It remains to be seen if Conan can escape the Queen's trap and win the love of Jenna along the way. Conan The Destroyer (1984) was released by MGM in DVD format. This Richard Fleischer film is rated U/A and is in English with subtitles in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
