Crisscross  (Bengali, Hardcover, Chakraborty Smaranjit)

Amazing plot. Smooth writing style. Real characters.
The novel follows about half-a-dozen characters going around solving their personal crises on 24 December from 8 AM to 3 PM. Their lives criss-cross providing the drama and suspense. The pace is crackling and feels like a movie - especially the dialogue (including SMS lingo).
Starts slowly as it takes the first twenty pages to draw the reader in but after that, it just doesn't let go.

The book is apt-fully written. The story, as the name suggests is a jigsaw puzzle that fits perfectly in the end. Makes us realise about the harsh realistic side of this world. No doubt Smaranjit is one of my favourite authors.
A must read for youths.

The writing style; one need to think hard to plot and tell the story in that "criss-cross"ed way.
