Digiflip Pro XT911 Tablet

I was hard-pressed to find a tablet in this price range that offered:
- A very capable processor in the form of a dual core Intel Atom, HT-enabled that can make the 2 cores seem like 4 virtual cores, couple with a decent 2 GB RAM offering. Browsing render-heavy websites is seamless, and switching between various apps is fast enough to be unnoticeable.

UPDATE: Got the kitkat update today. Updated it to 4.4.2 firmware version. Very unpolished. Feels like just updated the core but no updations in user interface.

Even some features worsened like in settings menu we were earlier able to see the sub options in jellybean directly now we can't which is the major problem. we have to repeatedly open it see the sub options.

The immersive UI option of Kitkat is not working properly sometimes.

Writing review after using this tab for 4 days.

Looks of the tab are pretty. Build is also good. Dont feel you are carrying a cheap tab. A bit heavy so u can crack some one's head with it. But feels steardy and solid in palm.

When you turn it on the the display, touch gives you the feeling of an average tab.

Touch is not at all response and feels like Rs 3000 grade smart phone. I doubt the quality of display. Event preinstalled wall papers dont give sharper welcome.

I have received my first Digiflip Pro XT911 Tablet on 20-Sep -14 and second one on 23- Sep-14. Both are working fine and completely satisfied with the performance , But at the same time Flipkart have to ensure availability of accessories like Flip cover and screen guard for its Private labelled product :( :( :(

The product looks good, well made, design and all. Battery life is low. Resolution is decent not great. It claimed to get KitKat update which never happened. Dropped it once lost its ability to work without charging after a year or so it fixed itself I guess someone dropped it again. It is super hard to find a service centre. Though I gave 4 stars, not recommended because of service and lack of after sell support issues.

I am running this tab more than 15 days. Till now the performance is fine. All the features are nice in this price range. This tab is upgradable to Android 4.4.2 (Kitkat). Following the instructions, the up-gradation is smooth. Android 5.0 (Lollipop) is already in the market for more than eight months. Why Flipkart does not make this tab upgradable to Lollipop? Lollipop is much faster and more secure than Kitkat. This this the only point the tab is lagging behind its counterparts.

All I can say is, you can't get a better 8.9 inch calling tab in this price range.

The "Goods":
The display quality is great. Colors are vivid.
3G browsing speed is great.
Near stock Android, hence performance is good.
The OS has been updated to Kit Kat.
Look and feel is premium.
Battery life is satisfactory.
The flipkart delivery and handling is superb as always.

The "Not so goods":
The cameras are not great but would suffice video calls (didn't expect more).
