Q:what will be the life of battery ? And how to change the battery if it is discharged.
A:I bought stove may be approx 6 months back , battery is still not totally discharged. The battery is AA type and it can be replaced when it's done.

A:No, it's not steel. It is glass body and they are charging mainly for sabaf lotus burners. By the way best automatic hob-top in this price range in India.

Q:What is the black Tape used for
A:On the underside of the glass top, there's a distinguished ridge separating it from the bottom part of the stove. You tape this ridge for some added protection, probably against water seepage/insects.
