This work has the English translation of the Sanskrit Upadesa Sarah, also referred to as Upadesa Saram. The translation is very literal and has alternative translations to help in fully comprehending the essence revealed in each verse. With each verse there is a ten-point commentary emphasizing the profound significance of the verse, which is the nature of the Self and its Knowledge of itself. Reading the verses and the commentary will cause the reader to dive deep into the sublime profound teachings of Sri Ramana Maharshi and thus realize the Self. An appendix that contains just the Sanskrit text with transliteration is included for ease of recitation and similar purposes.
