A beautiful compilation of some very fine works of the great author. I guess the only reason people have been unable to appreciate Tolstoy's works is the original language being Russian. This translation is quite interesting and provides the essence of each story beautifully. Though I have heard that better translations are available but I somehow thought of settling with this one.
