I, Manohar Lal Bakshi, would like to present, my life’s bittersweet memories penned down for you. Though not a poet, I love to pen-down every experience - seen and felt - in my life. My experiences include the whole kit and caboodle encountered in my childhood days. As well as those that caressed me in my growing up years. These poems mirror my life, reflect my inner world, through which I can relive every moment, as and when I like. My children , Bhumika, Monika and Anmol, have encouraged me to share and present these poems to the world. They are for those of you, who have forgotten your good old days. You can relive your memories, and feel the inner peace. Poetry is a means of expressing myself. I have no desire to seek fame and opulence as a poet; I haven’t even a poetry chapbook in print. I have always loved to put down my thoughts in form of poems for as long as I can remember. It is something no one taught me; poetry often comes naturally. I have written poems and couplets as gifts for my mother, wife, and children as they offer personal gratification. My family especially my mother has been a great influence in my life. It is with this point of view, I am sharing my life’s memories. After reading these poems, you will know me and my life better.
