Malavikka Sridharan is a writer and journalist. She graduated engineering in IT and completed Masters in Communication to venture into various media and writing realms. She has worked for media companies such as Deccan Chronicle, The New Indian Express, NDTV, The Hindu, News Today and Oneindia. Her autobiography, ‘Confessions Of A Single Daughter’ was printed to impart her life experiences with her closed circle of family members. A keen enthusiast and worker of women empowerment, she started the facebook group Married Superwomen. It was launched as a maiden initiative to bring together married women who were going through a stormy life cycle but did not have a space to voice their needs and seek help. Over time, it transformed as a go-to home for every member to seek support and vent their marital problems. As the motive of the group aimed at a solution-oriented focus than a problem accumulation, Malavikka decided to research on the key problems that most married women faced.
