Definitely recommend the RAM upgrade.
Got a Transcend RAM, unlike the SKHynix shown here.
The good thing is it has same specifications and its working fine.
If any one is skeptical about updating their RAM, I would advice them to go for it.
I got significant performance improvement on 7 year old HP Pavilion 15-n007ax Notebook PC for coding on Visual Studio and light gaming.
Also an SSD upgrade(Use Crucial system advisor) is a must if you are planning to use your laptop for coming 2-3 years.

Wonderful
Working absolutely fine in macbook pro mid 2012 13inch. I replaced one existing 2gb ram with this one and now its perfectly working fine with total 10gb ram. Apple uses same company's ram in their macbook hence I believe it must be top notch quality.

Decent product
Product is working but it is NOT GENUINE (Manufacturer doesn't shows up as SKHynix when read in computer Cmd prompt or Cpu-z). Also taking closer look at actual DDR3 (black) vs Blue ( Genuine ) PCB quality looks poor and Bar code blurry. It comes in cheap package with self pasted sticker unlike original sealed piece.

The product looks genuine from outside,
But after installing it on my laptop, it doesn't showing manufacturer's name(which should be 'Hynix') and Part Number. For that reason ,it may be fake.. but it works just fine and good, using it for 4 days, no problem faced so far. Hope it remains intact for 2-3 years,
