It's actually working. Though it seems to be a refurbished Ram so can't say how long will it run. But it has given my old laptop a kind of new life.
I'm a Linux user so a bit of Ram upgrade along with SSD upgrade is sufficient for me to push my laptop for another 1-2 years.
