Dr. Chhavi Bhatnagar completed her Masters in Social Work from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut and joined the same department as faculty-cum-field supervisor for MSW students in 2008. She has worked with different NGOs on various projects related to maternal, newborn, child and reproductive health. She qualified NET- JRF in Social Work and subsequently completed her Ph.D. in Social Work from Gautam Buddha University (GBU), Greater Noida in 2019. She also delivered lectures to BSW, MSW and MA (Sociology) students in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, GBU as JRF/SRF Scholar during the tenure of availing UGC scholarship. She also holds an MBA (Human Resource Management) degree from IGNOU. She has published five research papers in various National and International journals and three research papers as chapters in edited books. Currently, she is the academic counsellor for MSW programme of IGNOU at Vision Institute of Advanced Studies, a study centre located at Rohini, New Delhi.
