Webcam picture quality on your computer screen is nice. However, its a vga-camera like when you use it actually on services such as skype etc. Moreover, its a wise decision to purchase this model over the other similar pricey models of logitech because a lot depends on connection speeds while making video calls, and you need atleast 2mbps for a hd-level video conference, which at the moment is costly in India. Moreover, its the other person benefitting from your expensive camera, not you :-P ...

Pretty good for the price
This is perhaps the best webcam for Indian users, considering the fact that most of us do not have access to a high-speed Internet connection. Even if you do have a fast connection, your friend may not have it...so your HD video will actually come across to him or her as a stuttering YouTube video!
Although this webcam has VGA video, the picture quality is quite good. Even in low-light, the picture quality is pretty decent, which is something you won't get in most other webcams.

Probably the best product in the price bracket of
The video resolution is 1024*768 which is higher than any other webcam in the range.Still photos can be shot upto 5MP which is again best in the bracket.Completely satisfied with the product and its performance.The stand fits perfectly on the LCD monitor as well which again is a thumbs up.

Not very classy video n images
1024x768 option kicks in in good light conditions only, so make sure your desk is well lighted unlike mine. This pic is 1280x1024 imgur.com/6yjGo , overall good cam, but since webcams wouldn't be bought every so often, buy something further up the ladder. Of course keep in mind for video calling an HD cam will benefit anyone only with high speed internet.

You get what you pay for.
The images you click with this webcam will be of average quality. It won't be too pixelated or smudged, but it also won't be crisp and clear. The 5 MP specification is only on paper. But it's still satisfactory.
Coming to video quality, there isn't much to complain about. It records decent 480p videos and video calling with this is pretty good. Even though it's not HD, it does the job. For the price you pay, this is a good bargain. The mic on it is also pretty good.

Cheap, Nice Gripper, Reliable Connection (50-50)
The product is nice but i like to replace mine with a new HD version of the Webcam as my internet plan supports it. The USB connectivity gets lost sometimes during a Skype/Hangout call.
Apart from that, great product with a supporting software.

Simply Amazing !!
Dont want to bore anyone by writing pros and cons. To put it simply, its a great product. For Rs 892, you cannot ask for more. Used it for skype and the video quality was amazing as certified by the user on the other side. Microphone is super sensitive and captures the voice decently. Got rid of the microphone headset as I can now talk and hear hands free. You can just plug an d play if you have windows 8. It was all too simple...
