This film is an eye-opener for the youngsters who get depressed or give in to addiction or are provoked to end their lives due to failure in love. Maina is the first woman in the life of innocent police constable Ganpat. Maina is an artist residing in the red light area. She drams of marrying Ganpat. They both are swimming against the tide by confronting society. Maina is dumb- found seeing Ganpat's simple & straightforward mother and she leaves their house. Towards the end of the film, Maina is arrested by Ganpat. This story touches the hearts of the audience. This Film was specially made to oppose films which influenced the youth to addiction in those times.
