Great for 8-10 year olds
I gifted this book to 2 nieces and they totally love it, and one of them have it as part of her school curriculum too. A great read for young readers, especially young girls. They enjoy and relate to it moreover. Math, science, geography... it has everything. A good gift for a budding lit enthusiast!

No one is too old to read Roald Dahl books.
Popular as a children's author, Roald Dahl, also manages to grip the attention of the grown ups. A nice book. Interesting. I left my childhood many years ago but still, it was fun to read.
