we installed it on ground floor (one more room built on its top i.e this ground floor room is exposed to direct sunlight only by one side wall that too upto 12 noon)...excellent cooling for 130 sq ft room...

I was looking to buy Ac for a while.I was looking to buy carrier hybridjet, but it was not available. Finally i bought this as carrier is also partner to midea. 5star Ac with R32 and 2019 model, i was impressed. Got it installed next day. Believe me no sound while running and extremely good cooling. I loved it.

Simply awesome
Its been about 2 weeks since I have got the AC installed. Firstly, like all you guys here are thinking whether to buy this AC or not, this was my same situation for few weeks to convince myself whether to buy this AC or not. Trust me guys please this AC is equivalent to LG, Whirpool, Hitachi, etc. The cooling is so powerful that within 5min my 110sqft bedroom gets super chilled.

Wonderful
I bought Midea 1Ton AC 5 STAR SPLIT INVERTER AC in Nov and till date it look good. But due to very cold Ambient temperature, the compressor won't start. I will again update the review once i use this AC in summer. But rest all the functions looks good.

Excellent
After using this AC in a 10x10 room I found the cooling to be adequate with no noticeable noise or sound.
This unit doesn't come with horizontal swing, it needs to be manually adjusted as per need.

The 1 ton 5 star AC is doing great as per intended requirements.
I installed in my 160 sq feet room. Cooling room within 8 minutes. I am using daily 16 hours. My monthly electric bill coming around 750 rupees (south Odisha).
CONS.
1- It is highly priced. It will be better if available below 25000.
2- Installation person charging more in necessarily, like outer unit holding stand 1200 rupees, Ladder and safety belt rental cost 300 rupees, 3 pin plug top 300 rupees, drilling machine rental 200...

A:This model uses R32 gas which is better and the latest.
pro DLX model uses R410a which is going to be outdated in near future.
