The game starts off with Jack trying to escape from the Mafia and runs into Sam Harper, a smart young woman who knows how to make money. She suggests that he join the cross country race organized by a mysterious party that remains anonymous till the end. The race involves more than two hundred cars and over three thousand miles across the United States of America. It is popularly known simply as The Run, which is a onetime event where the winner gets to walk away with twenty five million dollars.
