This book grew out of the lectures delivered by the author to his students for the past several years. While teaching the students the author tried to use several books and found that none of the books meet the present-day requirements of the examination of class 12. It is with this aim of providing the students with material which strictly meets the requirements of present-day pattern of examination, the author decided to write this book. The book is divided into two parts Part I and Part II. Part I contains 6 chapters whereas Part II contains 7 chapters. The organisation of Each Chapter: Each Chapter is divided into sections. The first section of each chapter is an Introduction which connects the concepts to be introduced with what the students already know. Theory in each Section is followed by a Concept Check Exercise which contains Fill in Blanks Type (FB) and True / False Type Questions (T/F) to strengthen and reinforce the concepts of the students. It is followed by Solved Examples. Types of Solved Examples. Solved Examples are followed by Exercises which are split in the same way as Solved Examples. Answers are provided to all the Questions. Hints are given to difficult questions. Special Features are given in the Book: Shortcuts for Objective Type Questions to reach the Answer Quickly. Common Errors made by the Students are pointed out. While writing the book the author tried to look into all the CBSE Question Papers since 1979 and modified the questions to meet present-day needs. All efforts have been made to arrange the questions in order of difficulty.
