The lens was delivered on time as usual. This is a basic wide-angle lens. It has fixed focus and not motorable as you would expect. I ordered it for my D-500 without knowing the fixed focus issue. I wouldn't recommend it for professionals. Go for better lenses available in similar price points. This is useful for amateurs. The images are basic, nothing to boast about.

The lens is good, very well priced by Nikon. It may not be the sharpest lens available but compared to non-Nikon lenses like sigma, it is a good buy with better performance. But make sure that your camera supports this P mount lens.

A:Yes it will, all DX model lens would fit in D3400. But the lens has Auto mode always enabled. It doesn't manual switch, so you need to use the in menu option if you need to take manual shots.
