I have been using Philips GC 1905 steam iron for the past 1 week. The cord is 1.8 metres long. It makes the process of ironing very easy. I am enjoying ironing clothes. Few things to be kept in mind is 1. To turn the knob to steam mode only after it is hot. 2. While ironing in steam mode, avoid keeping your hand in front of the iron. Another good product from Philips though its costlier than its counterpart BAJAJ IRON.

Its an amazing iron. The iron is a little large and heavier, but its tolerable and give good pressing to the clothes. The spray system sprays hot water to clothes through its front nozzle and steam continuous to flow through bottom holes. The knob for different type of steam is there at top but i don't find it useful as changing it to more or less steam doesn't visibly change the amount of steam flowing out. Great looks, good size, and looks good on the ironing board. Before buying it I thought the purple buttons might look bad, but they didnâ??t seem as bad when i saw the iron.
Price:
It has the best "price to watt" ratio, and i wanted only above 1300W. This was the best price i found for an iron above that wattage.
Power:
Considering its 1440W when most irons are 1300W, it heats up really fast and extremely hot, so be a little careful.

It has a good build and design, it serves the purpose in all ways for its price keeping in mind the company repo and the services offered by the competitors.

Good iron
The price of this iron on Flipkart was lower than that from my local dealer. This is a good iron from Philips. Here are some points to remember.
This one irons pretty good.
1. The steam does not operate with a push-button, it has a turn able knob.
2. The power cord is a bit on the shorter side.
All in all, I am happy with the purchase.

Its a good product and works as intended.
The best part is the Steam that comes out
A trick that I use everyday is - I fill the water tank and then just spray some Perfume in the tank. After that the clothes are ironed with that water. Gives the clothes good fragrance.
