The most fundamental human need is to live a healthy, happy and prosperous life. Although the level of prosperity which one desires may differ from person to person yet everyone without exception wishes for a healthy and happy life. But not everyone is able to achieve this. The question thus arises as to why such disparity exists among humans. A person may be hale and hearty sitting on top of the ladder of success but still not be happy. Everyday life situations and circumstances have a great impact on an individual’s state of mind which in turn influences his state of happiness. People deal with adverse situations and circumstances differently and a person who is able to manage them without losing cool will always be happy. The purpose of life is not just to survive from day to day but to attain internal happiness and fulfillment. The question is how to make mind stronger to deal with adverse situations with equanimity. This can be done by understanding life and its various aspects which may influence one’s life.
