Gerard I. Nierenberg, born in 1923, was an American author and lawyer. The author has written more than twenty books, which have been translated into twenty-five languages. His first book, The Art of Negotiating, was published in 1968. Meta-Talk: The Hidden Meanings In Our Conversation and Creative Business Negotiating are some of his other works. He conducted many professional seminars. The author has been called The Father of Negotiating Training by Forbes, and one of the Eight Wise Men by The Wall Street Journal. He passed away in 2012.

Henry H. Calero is a writer, academician, and consultant. He authored The Power of Non-Verbal Communication. Calero was the president of C-M Associates, a consultancy firm. He has been a trainer for many Fortune 500 companies. He lives in Redwood Shores, California.
