Q:Planning to install it on the inside of the metal swing gate and may need welding to secure it in place, is this possible?
Battery changing/ charging- how to access after welded/screwed to gate?
A:It is not battery operated, it is DC 12V/2A Adapter based door lock. You need to have a power socket nearby your gate or else you can extend the length of adapter wire according for usage.
