Xiaomi Piston 2 VS Soundmagic ES18S
I have used both the products in the past 3 months and I will compare the two leading IEMs.
BUILD: The Xiaomi Piston 2 are more durable and are no doubt a better build with kevlar cord.
COMFORT: Soundmagic ES18S are more comfortable and light weight as compared to its rival. The Piston 2 are a bit bulky and you will be disappointed with their earplugs.

Better than creative EP630....awesome bass
Being a regular user of frontech ,sony ,sennheiser pmx60,creative EP630....this earphones a worth every penny.Definitely better than creative EP630 coz its got a powerful bass.
PROS:
- can be used on any phone or computer ..bcoz there is a converter provided in package that is not mentioned on the packing or flipkart...converter does a great job of connectivity
- superb bass and crystal clear sound
- mic is also quite good.
CONS:
not really a con but it does not really look so appealin...

The sound quality is excellent. Not going into details as it is clear from the reviews of others.
One feature of this headphone really delighted me and it is not mentioned by others. This headphone supports both type A and type B headphone jacks. They have a small toggle switch on the headset which changes its compatibility between type A and B. Which means it can be used by any smartphone.

• Earbud area is built good.
• Cable is of very average quality, you guys may get disappointed.
• Microphone is built sturdy of all the parts.

Simply awesome
I just received by Sound magic earphones...and I have been using it since the last 6 hours...it has just blown me away...I have used many earphones over the Years, which includes the like of Skullcandy, Sennheiser, Samsung and Even Bose...but this one is easily the best that I have had the opportunity of using. The clarity and the bass is simply amazing, I mean it makes you realize and enjoy every detail of the music that you listen to...I am seriously happy with this recent purchase of mine....

Good Sound, OK Bass
The sound quality is top notch, you can hear even the faintest sounds clearly. But if you are looking for something with heavy bass then this is not for you. Bass is not that heavy, I would prefer Skullcandy ONLY for Bass, otherwise the sound quality is great.

Sound Quality is Superb.
I was using the Bose Mi IE2 Earphones before (Rs 12,999) when the left side stopped working suddenly and I had to send them back for replacement. Till then I thought to buy a backup pair of earphones. After recommendation from I friend about Sound Magic, I went ahead and bought these.
These are like nothing I have ever heard before for this price.

Decent earphone below Rs 1000!
I am giving it a four star rating coz when compared to my earlier earphone (Sennheiser CX 180) the sound performance and bass is not up to the mark but it's not bad at all for its price.
I bought this mainly to try out earphones of another brand and also because of the free PC adapter, leather pouch and inbuilt microphone which my earlier headphone lacked. Also it's jack has a switch which makes it compatible with all phones which is a plus point.

Got one for my MI3
Initially I had ordered a MI3 piston, which flipkart made it late to deliver (Thanks a lot :P)
In the meantime i tried Piston from one of my friend, which was really producing an unpleasant experience.(Now u know y i thanked flipkart)...
In past i had Soundmagic earphones which was really great. So i came back thorugh this headset and cancelled piston.

Good headset in this range, very good bass. Clear sound, very good reproduction. Microphone sensitivity is good. Build quality is okay.
As the specification doesn't list down some things like, in box you get a pouch, extra ear buds and a very useful 3.5 mm to PC splitter. In case you are planning to use your microphone with your PC or laptop. And yes, it supports all kinds of phones, it has a compatibility switch to make adjustments.
