Quintessentially Pinker. I am glad he is one of my teachers.

Language is NOT Speech (Among other Things). Phonology is NOT Phonetics. As a Bio-Linguist, this is my most important takeaway, with empirical evidence, from this book. An all-time classic!

    Wonderful

This book is an excellent piece of work based upon the ideology of language(s) as the author describes the modern aspects and the cultural background alike.
