    • Think on These Things Chosen by Parabola magazine as ‘one of the hundred best spiritual books of the century’. An excellent introduction to Krishnamurti’s teachings for the young and the old. Consisting of Krishnamurti’s talks and discussions with students, teachers, and parents in India, it has been translated into the major languages of the world. Here Krishnamurti states, in unmistakeable terms, that the function of education is not different from the purpose of human life itself: ‘The function of education is to bring about a release of energy in the pursuit of goodness, truth, or God, which in turn makes the individual a true human being and therefore the right kind of citizen… As a river creates the banks which hold it, so the energy which seeks truth creates its own discipline without any form of imposition, and as the river finds the sea, so that energy finds its own freedom.’ The book comes with a free DVD of Krishnamurti’s talk in Saanen in 1983: “Is it possible to live in peace?”

Awesome book to open up a whole new world

One of the best books I read!!!!!! It has become my favourite inspiring book now.
After reading this book I realized I should have read it in my student life when our concepts about life were taking shapes. But still lucky I am never late to start a new. I would like to request education ministry to give copies of this book to every student they come into contact with. His thoughts should reach out to every teacher, student and their parents specially Indians.

Good read rather a must read

If you know JK then I don't have anything new to share. If you do not know Jiddu Krishnamurthi and you're trying to find him, you'll find him to the fullest in his book.

One of the best books out there answering the question of 'who are you' and other important questions relating to life. He explains a wide number of things in a lucid way.
