Good Hard-drive at affordable price

It is good actually. Seems to be robust.
Rating 4 stars as it is not very quiet. If you get silence in a room then you can actually hear it operating.

4- Not much heating even on prolong use

Very good product compared to price

I bought it for 4299/-. The product is very good in terms of performance and looks. Feels nice to hold as well. Looks very different compared to any other external HDD available in the market.

Great product

Purchased WD Hard disc from Ebay. received only case with metal pieces inside. With the fear i orderd in Flikart. got a real genuine product. working well. max copying speed reached only 100 mb/sec. but in package, it is mentioned as 5 gb/sec. i dont know how?. but i am not able to register the product for warranty. Toshiba dont register hard discs for warranty.

Strong build quality
1.81gb usable

3 year warranty offered
It has a notification light glows when you connect to the pc

Cons:
Transfer speed is not up to the mark inconsistent
Delivery time
Not slim as other hd like Seagate or wd
Bit bulky
Gets little warm after extensive usage

Final verdict:
If you are on tight budget and need hd this will be best pick.If you are willing to spend more then go for Seagate.

it's a very nice hard disk. when i ordered it 1st I got a hard disk which is not even getting it detected by any system. ten I replaced it and got a perfect one. I bought it 8 months before, still it's working.

Worth the money

I have used a transcend and a Seagate before, and I can safely say this one gives the best performance at this price.
Looks are awesome, great feel of the kind of metallic case, very unique, the red is a very nice shade.
I got uploading speed of 40mbps and downloading of 38mbps, which is decent but I expected more.
The only thing that I had a little concern was regarding the warranty. Toshiba does not cover tthis product in it's online warranty registration. If ever you would want to get it ...

Q:WHAT IS THE READ AND WRITE SPEED ON USB 2. 0 & 3.0 RESPECTIVELY ON WINDOWS 7? ALSO IS ITS TEMPERATURE INCREASES ON USING IT.

A:The Read and Write speed on 2.0 &3.0 on window 7 is 90 to 100 mbps and it's not getting hot. as i have used it for 1 1/2 hour continuously.
