Great product
This has changed the way i use internet at home. Before getting this mesh router i had three different hotspots in the house and all three never worked in tandem with each other. Devices would want to keep a connection with the old wifi AP (access point) that they were connected with till one manually switches over to another, making walking around the house impossible, this is something i do a lot on office calls.

Great product and easy to install
Loved the product and the ease of setting it up Previously I had a dual channel WiFi with two extenders making it a chaos changing SSIDs. The seamless roaming this brings along with one simplified SSID makes it awesome and sweet for connecting multiple clients.
I could also immediately see a perceptible improvement in coverage and improvement in speed, even compared to the WiFi extenders I was using earlier.

Worth every penny
Works very well. Seamless connection at home. The app is very functional and easy to use The only con that I could think of is that each router does not have an individual on off switch but guess that’s just nitpicking

Happy with the decision to go for a costlier option
Pros:
1. Took just 5 minutes to set it up using the app.
2. Nearly 100% of the internet speed as provided by ISP (unlike repeater, where speed drops considerably).
3. Same SSID all around the house. You don't have to keep choosing wi-fi connection when moving around the house.
Cons:
1. All the secondary units have to be connected to main unit (which is connected to the ISP provided router using a LAN cable). So, the main unit and ISP's router have to be placed centrally at a strategic loca...

I ordered 3 units of TP Link Deco M4 model which provides coverage of 5500 sqft.
I selected Deco M4, because it has 1 Gbps ethernet port which is not available in lower models. So even if you have internet speed above 100 Mbps, the deco won't be able to provide that speed unless you chose M4 or above. Also it has AC1200 wifi capability and should work well if my internet speed is upto 250 Mbps.

Good coverage within home. Kept 1st router connected to Internet Modem, the second one approximately 8m away on the same floor and another 8m away on ground floor. On ground floor there is a loss of approx. 3-5Mbps internet bandwidth but still very good. No WiFi 6, but able to get approx. 400-600Mbps Wi-Fi only bandwidth when the device is 2-3m away (to the main router) and min of 250+ Mbps in all the routers. Deco App is good and easy to configure.

Worth every penny

A:If you can connect the satellites to the main router via Ethernet, then you can cover about 3500 sq ft. With the wireless backhaul, a more realistic coverage is about 2500 sq. ft.

A:Yes, you may either use a LAN cable to connect each of the device to each other or they can be connected using the wireless mode as well (preferred mode but obviously with lesser speed).
