I find this to be a bit thicker than the pink one but it has a larger amount of product as compared to the pink one. From my experience in using both the pink and the gold lotions, my conclusion is that it is best to use the pink during spring to summer season where the weather is a well balance of dry and humid, and use the gold during autumn and winter where the weather is an all time extremely dry or extremely humid.
