Thanks to the AM4 socket I could upgrade from the Ryzen 3500 to 5700x and keep rest of my existing components. This resulted in a low cost yet significant upgrade to my gaming rig.
This resulted in almost 20-25 percent faster Single-Dual-Quad-Octa performance with decreased memory latency. This 5700x CPU at the time of purchase was hardly 6 months old and had almost double the benchmark scores compared to a 3500.

Mind-blowing purchase
Purchased this a few months ago when price was a bit higher but also 5800x3d was priced significantly higher and am5 was a new thing. CPU works great and does not bottleneck your system in all but the most unoptimized games. If you can get this for cheap definitely buy it.
