Castlevania : Lords Of Shadow 2  (for PS3)

In order to defeat the angel of death, an anti-hero will emerge to quell the mighty beast. From game developer MercurySteam and publisher Konami comes Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, a sequel to Castlevania: Lords of Shadow which was a reboot of the Castlevania game series. An action-adventure third-person single-player game for the Xbox 360 console, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 follows Gabriel Belmont who is now known as Dracula. Taking off from where the previous two games of this series ended, Dracula receives word of the resurgence of Satan from Zobek after waking up from his long slumber. On hearing this, he sets out to his castle to regain his powers so he can confront his formidable adversary. However, members of the Belmont clan and his son Alucard are out to annihilate him.

Rated 16 by PEGI, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2’s gameplay sees the player controlling Dracula. You primarily wield the Blood Whip which resembles the Combat Cross from the prequel. You also hold the Void Sword which replenishes your health and the Chaos Claw which helps you infiltrate the defenses of enemies and execute powerful attacks. Set in medieval and modern times, this game’s story mode is longer than the prequel’s. An open world environment lets you move around as you please and choose your own route too. With loads of toe-to-toe fights, spectacular surroundings and marvelously orchestrated background scores, this is a gripping installment in the Castlevania series.
