Far Cry 2 is a single-player first-person shooter game for the PC. Developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft, this game has received a PEGI rating of 16.

The storyline of this action-adventure game follows the long-raging war between the United Front for Liberation and Labour which is led by a former opposition leader and the Alliance for Popular Resistance which is led by the chief of staff for the former government. Both these political parties seek to conquer a Central African country. However, when neither of the sides seem to be letting down, they start hiring foreign mercenaries to do their dirty work. When the nation’s diamond mines end up getting exhausted, there are no means of getting pay or a way of getting out of the country for the mercenaries. Left without anything to sustain themselves, the mercenaries must now fight and strive to survive. And beyond all, the Jackal, an arms dealer who deals with both the sides, must be taken down!

The gameplay of Far Cry 2 is quite magnificent. With an open-ended experience where you can roam about the nooks and crannies of the vast landscapes and take down people as you please, this game grants you much freedom and excitement. You can choose from 9 different characters, each with a unique identity, and take up the role of a hardened mercenary. You can choose to pledge allegiance to one or more factions, and you can progress through the game at your own pace. An array of various vehicles are available in-game for you to travel in. From head-on gun battles to stealthy encounters that require more precision, this game has it all to offer and much more! Also, with the multiplayer mode, there is nothing stopping you from taking on people from all around the world or your friends even!
