Synopsis and Features

LittleBigPlanet tells a cute little story about the Sackfolk. Living on Craftworld, Sackfolk are creatures who help each other if there are any problems and are always together no matter what. However, a planet has been spotted in the sky and everyone in Craftworld is attracted to it. Everybody thinks the celestial body will be the cause of happiness, but the truth is that it will bring danger of epic proportions. Donning the role of Sackboy, you must now save the planet before it’s too late.

Developed by Double Eleven and Tarsier Studios with additional help from Sony XDev and published by Sony Computer Entertainment, LittleBigPlanet gives you the freedom to create elements in the game the way you like. The single-player mode will allow you to collect stickers, unlock costumes and do many other things. Various types of enemies are present in the game. You can leap over them all by using grappling hooks.

The objective of the game is to discover all the hidden items and quickly jump over enemies to avoid death. This allows you to Ace a level. As you progress through the game you can solve various puzzles to unlock levels and complete the game. The real charm of the game lies in creating new content for the game. Using the Memorizer tool you can create levels and save their progress.

Online Features

Online gaming is a thoroughly entertaining experience with LittleBigPlanet as you can team up with 3 of your friends and play the game online. Several multiplayer options are included too. If you have played the game previously on the PS3 or PSP, all the costumes featured in LittleBigPlanet and LittleBigPlanet 2 are available for you to download. This is a great benefit to gamers as you can easily download and dress your characters in the costumes you prefer. If you are a fan of mini-games then you are in for a treat as the game features hundreds of mini-games.

More than 65 tutorials are featured in LittleBigPlanet that teach you how to build different things in the game. This is an excellent feature as you can take your creativity to the next level. 6 different worlds are available for you to explore in the game. While 5 worlds are focused with the different adventures of Sackboy, the sixth world called The Arcade features new characters and many other things. Various DLC packs are in production that includes Knights Of Old pack. Once downloaded, this DLC will allow you to dress as a knight, dragon or a princess.
