This code will let you access the Retro Map Pack that has 2 maps from Killzone 2, Killzone 3 dynamic theme and Killzone 3 soundtrack. Synopsis and Features

The story of Killzone 3 starts where Killzone 2 left off. The death of Emperor Visari doesn’t mean that the war is over, far from it. Moreover, you are in much deeper trouble as with Visari dead a political storm is brewing. You are behind enemy lines and trying to win a war with limited supplies and no re-enforcements. Helghast battalions are marching towards you. You have to creative, calculative and downright ruthless if you have to win. But to win, you must survive first, can you?

Developed by Guerrilla Games and published by Sony Computer Entertainment, Killzone 3 has many improved features than the previous games. The game also allows the use of the PlayStation Move controller. Playing with the Move adds in extra interactivity as you can use the controller to move your character and shoot enemies using it.

The single-player campaign of the series takes you through the ravaged lands of Helghast as you fight enemy soldiers to keep yourself alive. The game has a nice balance between on-foot and vehicle based missions, making the game truly versatile. The game features some scenic environments like arctic landscapes, a lethal alien jungle and nuclear wastelands, making it a visual treat for gamers.

The combat system has been revamped and features a close combat melee system. This allows you to use new and brutal melee attacks which can be stringed together to develop a combo. The combat is the highlight of Killzone 3 as it is more intense and savage than other shooters in the market. The new feature in the game includes the ability to use jetpacks. This is an interesting addition as even enemy soldiers can use this feature, requiring you to be precise while shooting them down.

Camping is not an option in Killzone 3 as it features destructible environments. This is as much a helpful addition as it a setback. You can be shooting someone hiding behind a wall and enjoying it while getting killed in the exact same fashion. The game has impressive and intelligent AI. Co-players within the game respond well and are fairly accurate while shooting enemies. The game will be a treat for 3D lovers as you can play it in 3D as well.

Online Features

The multiplayer of Killzone 3 offers everything to keep you entertained for hours. The game offers three modes game modes: Guerilla Warfare, Warzone, and Operations. There are a total of eight multiplayer maps, each one more beautiful and larger than the other.

In multiplayer, you can choose any class from the five classes on offer. This includes Marksman, Engineer, Field Medic, Tactician, and Infiltrator. Each class has its own unique abilities and weapons. The point system has also been revamped and assists you in accumulating points faster. Experience in the game counts as headshots can earn you more points.

If you don’t want to play online you can play offline in Killzone 3 as well. 2 players can team up and rip through the campaign of Killzone 3 and enjoy a thoroughly satisfying game experience. The DLC’s for the game include Steel Rain and From the Ashes, featuring new maps and bonus XP points.
