Naruto Shippuden is the hugely popular series featuring a young ninja who is quite good at his art. The game is a fighting competition featuring the characters of the show. The game also features some of the signature moves that made most of the characters so famous. The ninja fighting game has been developed by CyberConnect2, published by Namco Bandai Games and is part of the Naruto Ultimate Ninja video game series. The game is based purely on the Naruto Manga which is by Masashi Kishimoto who is the creator. The game is set for release on the consoles like the PS 3 and Xbox 360.

The most advanced of all ninja themed fighting games has arrived for the consoles in the form of Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3. This is the latest in the Ultimate Ninja series of games to have released. There are almost 72 playable characters in the game which include a few new ones as well. This inclusion of such a high number of playable characters makes this the largest cast in the Ultimate Ninja Series. Even with the health bar coming all the way down, players are still given a fighting chance with the new ability called the Awakened Mode. Much like the Zen Power attained in deep meditation where one’s senses and abilities are at their peak, the awakened mode lets the player do more damage and gives him enhanced fighting abilities. This is much like the special attacks in other fighting games where a devastating series of attacks is possible once in the match, after accumulating enough experience points per round.

The Awakened Mode also can only be used once in the round, or at each battle. Like in previous versions of the game, the player can choose two additional characters to help and assist the main character in a fight. Aiding of the player is also possible now by use of combos. This makes it much easier for the player to quickly recover in between battles. Even your assisting characters come with their own health bars, which can get depleted when taking hits from the opponents. When their health bars get used up completely, they become unusable for the duration of the battle.

Boss battles are also to be expected in the title as it plays an important part in the main story. The game also features some quick time events which would require you to come up with valid strategies to accomplish a victory. The Nine Tailed Fox is the famous antagonist in the series which sees a return to the game version of Naruto as well. The story does continue from the ending of Ultimate Ninja Storm 2, however, it focuses more on the Nine Tailed Fox.

The game also features the Ultimate Decision Mode where more than one ending in possible based on your character’s journey through the game. It also features the classic hack and slash mode where you can go crazy with your moves and decimate the enemy. You get control of a single character at a time and have to face a barrage of enemies who must be overcome and overpowered in order to proceed. The game Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 has been designed for the PS 3 and has a PEGI rating of 16 and above for violence and simulated fighting.
