Train Simulator  (for PC)

Train Simulators are games that depict the actual workings of a railway line and the carriages involved in it. The realism in games like these simulators all depend on the detailing. Most of the simulators, like the Train Simulator by Microsoft Studios recreate trains from the real world and use authentic landscapes that pose challenges much like in the real world with real world conditions playing a major role in the outcome.

You get to take control of the train from the Engineer’s point of view and from the Engineer’s seat in the engine. You can control both freight and passenger trains while facing some exciting challenges ahead. You could also play as a passenger and choose to relax in the seat and enjoy the scenery rolling by you.

The player can create missions, routes and challenges thanks to an interactive editor that is available in the game with the necessary tools for creating such missions. You could try modifying preexisting routes and scenes to new ones or just add a few extra hurdles for some added fun. The game has a PEGI rating of 3.
